Instagram and spending summer in Helsinki

Recently I also added an Instagram account where it's more convenient to post travel pictures, check it out here. I spent the week back in beautiful Helsinki. It's really gorgeous to see during the summer. Riding the train seeing the rocks, and the landscape of endless green pine trees.

During the summer period Helsinki always blossoms with the period of the summer festivals. This time I was a little bit early and most of the festival activities I had to miss out on. However when I walked out to the harbor I saw an open market. It was a clear blue sky, the sun was shining, about 25 degrees.

That day was pure heaven. I used the Helsinki eye and look out far on the vanishing points to be astonished by the beauty of the ocean.

Of course during a road-trip one cannot stop to have a little lunch too, yummie pie and sandwhich

Getting started with Electron Pt 1.

Electron is a fun and easy way to create desktop application from an mostly web based code. Of course websites aren't the most performance way to create an user-interface ( in terms of technical aspects such as memory, cpu consumption) but it's an extremely powerful experience rich way of doing that.
